Mae’r Athro Anne Rosser, Cadeirydd Rhwydwaith Clefyd Huntington Ewropeaidd (EHDN), yn rhoi cyfweliad cynhwysfawr ar oes newydd ym maes Ymchwil i Glefyd Huntington.<\/p>\n

Mae’r Athro Rosser yn gyd-gyfarwyddwr Gr\u0175p Atgyweirio’r Ymennydd yn Ysgol Biowyddorau Prifysgol Caerdydd, yn Gyfarwyddwr Clinigol Banc Meinwe’r Ffetws Caerdydd ac yn bennaeth gwasanaeth niwroleg glinigol De Cymru ar gyfer Clefyd Huntington (HD). Gyda chyfoeth o brofiad yn y maes, gan weithio gyda chleifion HD ers 1994, mae Anne yn trafod y momentwm y mae wedi’i weld yn datblygu dros y blynyddoedd.<\/p>\n

Mewn cyfweliad ag EHDN, mae Anne yn manylu ar yr heriau y mae’n eu hwynebu, sut y daeth i arbenigo mewn HD, statws presennol therap\u00efau trawsblannu a HD fel model ar gyfer clefydau niwroddirywiol yn gyffredinol.<\/p>\n

Yn yr erthygl mae hi’n tynnu sylw at statws Prifysgol Caerdydd fel canolfan gyfeirio bwysig ar gyfer HD a’i chryfder ym maes niwrowyddoniaeth, yn enwedig o ystyried bod yr Athro Peter Harper, genetegydd clinigol a weithiodd ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd am flynyddoedd lawer, ynghyd \u00e2’r Athro Lesley Jones ill dau yn rhan o’r consortiwm a ddarganfu’r genyn HD.<\/p>\n
